While the gem minerals from the Northern areas of Pakistan have been mined for centuries, the mineral riches of Balochistan are just starting to reveal themselves. Our involvement here began when chromite mines in Killa Saifullah set a new standard for a previously unappreciated mineral, Brucite. Chasing down the best of these pieces became my top priority at the time, leading to The Ziga Chrome Mine, and the successful acquisition of nearly all of the brucite masterpieces.
